TOPS & TAILS GAME​

 

By crikey—the Haggard Hawks Twitter feed added its 40,000th follower early last week. So as always when HH passes these milestones, a massive thank you to you all for following, sharing, commenting and just generally being brilliant. And, as always, here’s a game to keep you all busy until we reach the next milestone—and OH. MY. WORD. This is a doozy.

Click PLAY in the box below, and you’ll be shown 30 pairs of letters. Above them will be a word with its first and last two letters missing. All you have to do is pick a letter pair that can be dropped at the start and end of the word to complete it. So if the clue was __ANTI__, you’d pick the pair ME, to spell MEANTIME. If the clue was __MPERA__, you’d pick TE, to TEMPERATE. Get the idea? Good. Sound easy? It really isn’t. Oh, and by the way—there’s only 4 minutes on the clock...
